What's this attraction about?
A beautiful trail that follows the coast line in Maui from Kapalua Bay to D.T. Flemming Beach, or vice versa. This is a planned trail which meanders along the coastline in Kapalua. There are a few trails that lead off of the main trail and follow other areas of interest such as Hawea Point which is a botanical trail. The trail is described as being anywhere from 1.5 miles to 3.5 miles in length, and includes mainly very easy walks.
History
Dr. Dwight Baldwin came to Hawaii and settled in the area in 1836. After serving the land and people of Hawaii for 17 years he was given a royal grant of 2,675 acres of land which would eventually be built into what is now Kapalua.
