Discover Hawaii Tours (DHT) cannot be held responsible for and cannot extend financial reimbursement for delays caused by factors such as traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or problems concerning Navy-operated shuttle boats. Ticketed access to the Arizona Memorial is first-come first-served, DHT cannot guarantee admission and cannot issue refunds if access to any tour stop is denied for any reason.
Seasons and climate conditions may affect tour stops. For example, North Shore ocean waves are much bigger in the winter. Discover Hawaii Tours is not responsible for changes in weather (that's Mother Nature's job, after all!).
Lava sighting is not guaranteed; however, this year more than 2/3's of our tours experienced a lava sighting. Volcanic and lava activity is up to Mother Nature and completely out of our control. Please keep in mind that this is a volcano eco-tour with many exciting highlights including the possibility of seeing lava; it is not a lava tour.
Volcanic fumes (VOG) are hazardous to your health. Persons with breathing and heart difficulties, pregnant women, infants, and young children are especially at risk should consult a health care professional before taking this tour to avoid potential health problems from exposure to fumes. All passengers are required to sign a release of liability form.
Due to airline flight schedule changes, all flight and pick up times are subject to change. Your exact departure and return times will be printed on your tour confirmation.
Because this tour involves inter-island flights, we are required by Federal law to provide the Transportation Security Administration the full names, date of birth and gender of all passengers. U.S. citizens must present a current government issued pictured ID and international visitors are required to have a valid passport. Regrettably, we are unable to refund any portion of the tour due to non-compliance of these federal regulations. Cancellation Policy +
Changes and cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours prior to tour commencement without penalty. No-shows and changes or cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a full charge. No refunds are available once a tour has commenced.
Due to airline tickets restrictions, all tours which include airfare are non-refundable once the reservation is purchased. Airline tickets are non-changeable and non-transferable.
