Oahu tour featuring Oahu’s three top attractions: Pearl Harbor, Dole Pineapple Plantation and the Polynesian Cultural Center
This is a great combo tour that will save you precious vacation time. Discover three Oahu attractions all in one day! First up is Pearl Harbor, an important historic site you just can’t miss while visiting Hawaii. It was here where the Japanese attacked the United States in 1941, causing the U.S. to enter World War II. A Navy shuttle boat will take you out to the sunken USS Arizona, where you’ll stand on a platform right on top of the sunken battleship- the USS Arizona Memorial. See the oil that is still leaking from the battleship after more than 65 years-now known as the “black tears of the Arizona”.
After you finish touring Pearl Harbour, you will be taken to the Dole Pineapple Plantation, located in Oahu’s center. Here you can see how pineapples grow and try some mouthwatering pineapple whip. Or how about some fresh pineapple chunks? They’re probably the freshest and sweetest you’ve ever eaten.
After that, you’ll discover Oahu’s North Shore and see the world-famous big wave surfing beaches, including Waimea Bay, Pipeline and Sunset Beach. And make sure to check out Haleiwa town, a quaint village that truly defines “surf culture”.
Then, it’s off to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here, enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet lunch and learn about the cultures of Polynesia including Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, and Hawaii.
Later, enjoy stops at the Byodo In Temple and the Pali Lookout, both located on the East Shore of Oahu. Then, have your camera ready for scenic views of the little offshore islands of Chinaman’s Hat and Rabbit Island. Along the way, you’ll also see popular Hollywood movie film locations. See where Jurassic Park, Lost, Godzilla and Pearl Harbor were filmed.
