Hana was beautiful!, April 22, 2010

I am sooooooooooooooooo glad I didn't have to drive! Taking the tour was an awesome idea, that road has way too many turns and tight bridges. Our guide was awesome, Terry told us so much about the different beaches and the history of Maui. He was a really good driver, too. The lunch was really good too, I'll never complain about eating a picnic on the beach! I just wish your company had more tours on Maui because I will definately use your company in the future. Mahalo to Terry!

Wonderful Tour - Mahalo, Terry!, April 01, 2010
Reviewer: Bryce Snyder from Newton, KS USA

This was an excellent tour when my wife and I took it last Sunday! Terry was much more than a good driver, and entertainer (although he did these great, as well).
Terry also provided a great insight to the rich history of Maui (and Hawaii as a whole) during the tour, from the early Polynesian discoveries, to the infusion of the flora and fauna brought to the island.
As others have commented, it would be impossible to get as much out of such a tour on your own, particularly when navigating through the multitude of one lane roads, and worst of all, the miles of treacherous single land dirt roads that line the mountains on the southeast side of the island.
Once again, Mahalo, Terry, for a job very well done! If you have some time, Terry, send me an e-mail at brycesnyder@cox.net - my wife and I would like to send you a mainland thank you present!

Did this tour last week with Jonathan who was a most amazing guide. We had a fantastic day saw lots of awesome sights, that had we driven (and thankfully we didnt) we wouldnt have even known about. Jonathan was a great guide and we had a fantastic day, thank you for a very interesting and informative day out.

Amazing tour and guide, February 08, 2010
Reviewer: A & F from Ontario, Canada

We enjoyed everything about this tour and really appreciated having someone else manipulate the numerous turns and narrow roads.

Our guide, Terry, was a wealth of information about the area and its history. He went out of his way to make sure everyone enjoyed the journey.
We especially liked lunch at the beach and Terry serenading us with his ukulele.

Thanks, Terry

Both of our tours with this company have been great. The guides are superb.

Glad to not have to drive, June 07, 2009

My favorite part of this trip was not having to drive. Having an experienced guy at the wheel was very nice. Johnathan was very nice and well organized, also very informative. We did feel though that breakfast couldve been better organized. There was a bit of a back up with all the people there.

The views were breathtaking. Lunch was fabulous. Overall, an absolute amazing day. By far, Dennis was the best part of the tour. He was informative, highly interactive, and held our interest throughout the tour. I am a certified interpretive guide and found Dennis to be highly professional and an outstanding source.

Best day on Maui, May 12, 2009
Reviewer: Andrea J from Portland, OR USA

We were told by my sister who visited Maui last year that we had to take this tour when we came. My husband and I have never really been the tour type, but my sister is rarely wrong about these things. Dennis was our guide and he was amazing! He was knowledgable, humorous, informative and VERY personable. You can tell he is passionate about his job. He made sure we had enough time at each stop and with the smaller tour group, we felt it was more like travelling with family. The island itself was breathtaking! We loved the balck sand beaches! We would take this tour again.

Outstanding, April 11, 2009

My daughter took this tour when she was on Maui, and kept gushing on and on about how good it was. I didnt think it could be as good as she said, but she forced me to take the tour when I went to Maui. I was badly mistaken about her judgment, because this tour was all she said it would be. Dennis was so wonderful, not only was he a wealth of knowledge, but he was a great driver too (I am soooo glad that I didnt drive the road to Hana myself!). The winery was great, as was the lunch at the hotel, but the scenery was unbelievable. This was the highlight of my trip to Maui.

We really enjoyed seeing parts of the island that we have never seen before and not having to worry about the road conditions. Also, hearing so much about Maui from such a knowledgeable source, we will highly recommend Jonathan as the driver!

I just wanted to say that this tour was a lot of fun! It was really great to be on Maui with my mom, and I dont think we would have seen as many beautiful sights if we didnt go on the Road to Hana. This tour was really a beautiful trip!!!

Entertaining and Enjoyable, January 29, 2009
Reviewer: G. Martin from US

We debated between driving the road ourselves and just taking the tour and my brother convinced me we should take the tour. Im really glad i listened, because this trip would not have been as fun and not nearly as entertaining if we had done it all on our own! There were a lot of places that we did not know about, and it was very nice to have our guide driving the road for us. It really was a relaxing, fun day and a great way to spend our day on Maui.

This was such a great tour! We wanted to see the most gorgeous parts of Hawaii and we were not disappointed! We lost count of all the waterfalls we saw along the road and my only problem on this tour was I ran out of room on my memory card of my camera :)

So glad we decided to take a tour on the Road to Hana. It was very relaxing to have our guide drive us, and he knew so much about the island. We stopped at beautiful places. This was a full day adventure that I will do again the next time I get the chance to visit Maui.

There isnt much to add to the previous comments, but I had such a good time that I just had to write something! Dennis is indeed a great tour guide. He made the whole trip interesting and fun. You must go on this tour if youre in Maui, because no matter how much people say its beautiful, you cant imagine HOW beautiful until you see it yourself...its almost like around every curve is another breathtaking scene. I will go on this tour again, when I get back to Maui...its that good!!!!

My mother and I loved the Road to Hana tour. Dan was an excellent guide (and driver !) I was exhausted at the end of the day and I was only a passenger, so I am VERY happy that I decided to let someone else do the driving! The sights were incredible!
