After your guide picks you up from the Honolulu Airport, he or she will offer a dramatic overview of the events that led to the December 7th, 1941 attacks on Pearl Harbor. Then when you arrive at Arizona Memorial Park, you will see a historical film with real footage of the Pearl Harbor attacks. Then, its time to ride out to the USS Arizona Memorial aboard the US Navy shuttle boat. At the Arizona Memorial, peer down to the battleship below –a tomb for the 1,177 sailors who died within its decks.

At the Visitor’s Center, take time to browse through the captivating Museum exhibits. And be sure to check out the gift shop, a perfect location to purchase war memorabilia.

The USS Missouri Battleship, located on Pearl Harbor’s Ford Island, is easy to view from the grounds of the Arizona Visitor’s Center and will in fact be the next stop on your tour. At the USS Missouri Battleship, locally known as the “Mighty Mo,” see the plaque commemorating the end of WWII.
