Pearl Harbor
Description: World War II Valor in the Pacific Visitor’s Center, USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine, USS Missouri Battleship, Pacific Aviation Museum, USS Oklahoma Memorial
Located just north of Honolulu International Airport, Oahu’s most visited attraction is the site of the Pearl Harbor attacks, which prompted the United States to declare war on Japan and enter World War II. Now home to a beautiful new Visitor’s Center and many important relics from the war including: Pearl Harbor Memorials, war weapons, and war vessels, all kept here and preserved by the National Parks Service as part of the World War II Valor in the Pacific Monument.
Location: Honolulu, HI, approximately 25 miles from Waikiki.
How long we stop here: Depending on the tour, time at Pearl Harbor varies from two and a half hours for tours visiting only the USS Arizona Memorial and the Visitor’s Center, to approximately 9 hours for tours visiting all 4 of the major exhibits at Pearl Harbor.
