Where to go in Hawaii

Hawaii is a tropical paradise with many hidden gems which are definitely worth discovering. These are some of our favorite gems, and why they’re so special:

Molokini Island, Maui

Just of the southwest coast of Maui is a tiny volcanic crater which many residents of Hawaii call home. Nearly 250 species of residents to be more accurate! Molokini Island is home to a diversity of fish, and a popular hangout for the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. Nearby is a unique underwater formation that is frequented by the Honu. Dubbed the “Turtle Arches”, a close encounter is common here with one of Hawaii’s most gentle and peaceful creatures. Boasting some of the finest diving in Hawaii, the island of Molokini answers the question of “Where to go in Hawaii” for anyone excited to make a splash in the tropics.

Byodo-In Temple, Oahu

Tucked amongst the base of the Ko’olau Mountains is the lesser-known Byodo-In temple. Built to commemorate the centennial of arrival of Japanese laborers in Hawaii, the Byodo-In is actually a replica of a 900+ year old Buddhist temple in Japan. Quiet and far removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu and Waikiki Beach, with geese running free, Koi fish swimming in the pond, and the caws of peacocks echoing through the forest, visiting the Byodo-In Temple will be unforgettable!
Join us on a circle island eco tour of Oahu and highlight your vacation with a visit to the Byodo-In Temple, a swim at a tropical waterfall, turtles resting on the beaches of the North Shore and much more!

Rainbow Falls, Big Island

Just outside Hilo Town on the Big Island is the roaring Rainbow Falls. Fed from the lush rainforest on the lower slopes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, Rainbow Falls is quite impressive and only takes a few minutes to drive to!
Join us for a visit to Rainbow Falls on a Big Island Volcano Tour! Experience the Big Island’s volcanoes and visit Hilo’s top attractions for the hottest thing to do in Hawaii!

Waimea Canyon, Kauai

Commonly called “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, Waimea Canyon is one of the largest natural land formations in Hawaii. Inspiring awe with it’s size and sheer beauty, a visit to Waimea Canyon is a must for any Kauai vacation.
Often seen in the area are deer, which when spotted catch most vacationers off guard. (You wouldn’t expect to find Bambi on a Hawaiian vacation, would you? Nemo yes, while snorkeling, but Bambi?!)

Waianapanapa State Beach, Maui

One of Maui’s most beautiful black sand beaches is just past about turn 321 of the over 600 curves of the famed “Hana Highway“. With stunning coastal scenery, lush tropical rainforest, breathtaking waterfalls, and exotic black sand beaches, Maui’s Hana Highway has long been considered “one of the country’s best drives” and is a Maui must! We love to stop at Waianapanapa for lunch while touring the Hana Highway. It’s a great place for photographs, to enjoy a delicious lunch outside, and the feeling of black sand between your toes is truly unique!
They say “Maui No Ka Oi” which means “Maui is the best” Why you might ask? Take a journey on the road to Hana and you’ll know why…

Sacred Falls, Oahu

Tucked deep into the Ko’olau Mountains on the Windward side of Oahu is the island’s tallest waterfall, Sacred Falls. With a hiking trail no longer open to the public, venturing to Sacred Falls has become even more exciting! No, it’s not that the hike is more exciting because it’s off-limits, it’s because you have to go in a helicopter! Sacred Falls is one of the many wondrous sites you can see on a Sacred Falls helicopter tour of Oahu.
Paradise takes on a whole new meaning when you see it from above, and a helicopter tour will surely be a highlight of your vacation! Need more information about Hawaii attractions and landmarks?
