Iolani School Fair 2012

Every year, the Iolani School hosts a family festival packed with great food, games, shopping, entertainment, movies, Hawaii activities, and more! Over 2,000 volunteers support the Iolani Fair, raising money for student programs and campus facilities. Parking and trolley service available at Kaimuki High School.

The 21st Annual Iolani School Fair

The fair is held on Iolani School grounds in the Moiliili neighboorhood, located on the other side of the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu.

Friday and Saturday, April 20 -21, 2012 12:00pm – 10:30pm 563 Kamoku Street  Honolulu, HI 96826

This year’s theme is “Global Getaway”, featuring an emphasis on international foods.

International food options include:

  • Korean, Greek and Veggie Wraps
  • Cuban Sandwiches
  • Pasta Bolognese
  • Sushi and Ochazuke
  • Chocolate panna cotta and strawberries romanoff
  • Red velvet cupcakes from Hokulani Bakery
  • Fresh crepes from Tango Cafe

Food booths will feature:

  • Hawaiian plates
  • BBQ chicken
  • Asian noodles
  • Malasadas, including li-hing malasadas
  • Smoothies
  • Waiola shave ice
  • Waffle dogs (hot dogs wrapped in waffles)
  • Pizza and more

All proceeds go to Iolani School

The Iolani School uses proceeds from the fair to improve school facilities, purchase updated classroom and sports equipment, and increase scholarships.


Hawaii’s favorite family activities can be found at the fair: Xtreme Fun fairway, face-painting, games tent and more Unlimited rides on Xtreme Fun are available Saturday from noon to 4 p.m for a $20 discount wristband.

The Marketplace and Silent Auction

Enjoy shopping at the festival, including a general store, silent auction, homemade jams and jellies, arts and crafts, Hawaiian plants, gourmet food more. The silent auction features restaurant certificates, original artwork, gift baskets, jewelry, and more.

Talent competition

The Reach for the Stars talent contest features students from across Hawaii who will compete for over $2000 in prize money.

Free outdoor movies

Movies will be playing on the football field: Friday at 7:15 p.m. — Kung Fu Panda 2 Saturday at 7:15 p.m. — Captain America
