Hawaiian’s New Route to Japan
Hawaiian Airlines debut its brand new route to Asia this past July 12th. With daily flights to and from Osaka, Japan, Hawaiian Airlines is busy expanding their international, and domestic, routes.This is Hawaiian’s 3rd new route to Asia. In January, Hawaiian began flying to Incheon International Airport in South Korea. Back in November 2010, Hawaiian started flying to Haneda International Airport in Tokyo. Before the new service to Asia began, all of Hawaiian’s flight attendants took a two-day training program on meeting Asian passenger’s service expectations. The program educated Hawaiian employees on Asian history, custom and culture in an attempt to better understand Asian passengers. To celebrate the new Osaka route, Hawaiian Airlines entertained its inaugural passengers with music, dancing and a Hawaiian blessing. And what’s more, Hawaiian Airlines plans to add even more routes in the future. Look for the airlines to announce the new routes in the following quarter.
