Famous Haleiwa Attractions

Matsumoto’s Shave Ice is a staple of the North Shore community, where Hawaii residents and tourists arrive everyday to enjoy delicious Hawaiian Shave Ice and shop unique Matsumoto’s gifts. Ali’i Beach Park is a great location to relax and surf. The view of Mokuleia and the Northwestern tip of Oahu provide a breathtaking view of Hawaii’s beauty. Lifeguards are on duty, and swimming here in the winter is not advised when the waves are big and strong. You’ll also find lots of boutiques, restaurants, and more at Haleiwa. The Big Wave Shrimp food truck features a covered seating area, a great place to enjoy a Garlic Shrimp plate lunch. Next door is the One Love Surf Shop, where you’ll find tons of surf and Jamaican-inspired merchandise, from Bob Marley products to swimwear. As you drive through Haleiwa, you’ll make your way back to Kamehameha Highway, which will take you to famous North Shore beaches like Waimea Bay Beach Park, Sunset Beach, Pipeline (Banzai), and more!
