Eat the Street: Dia De Los Muertos
This Month’s ThemeStreet Grindz is hosting another great Eat the Street event this Friday! This month’s theme is Latin food, in celebration of the Hispanic holiday “Dia de Los Muertos” which celebrates the passing of loved ones into the next world.
About the EventKaka’ako (555 South King Street) will remain the location of the event, and food trucks from around the island of Oahu will gather to present many of their normal dishes, as well as Latin themed dishes. There is plenty of parking, and admission, as always, is free. Non-Stop Honolulu has a complete list of all the vendors attending, as well as—for the vendors who decided to share—a list of “On the Menu” items. After looking through the list of vendors that will be attending it was hard to ignore my watering mouth. I decided to make a list of food trucks, and their exceptional offerings. There are many types of foods offered, and here is a list of the ones that stand out
