Easter in Hawaii
is an exciting time of year, and there are always a bunch of fun activities for you and your family to enjoy, and because there are so many events we will post the list in two parts. There are a plethora of Easter egg hunts taking place throughout the islands, and a bunch more events and services for Easter day.
Events for Easter in Hawaii
There are events planned for Easter in Hawaii for Saturday March 31st, as well as Saturday April 7th. The following list are the events taking place on Saturday March 31st.Arrival of the Easter Bunny
10am-noon Saturday March 31, at Windward Mall in the Sears wing. Come witness the arrival of the Easter Bunny at Windward Mall. Goodie bags for the first 100 keiki will be given out, followed by arts and crafts.
Hope Chapel at Kaneohe Bay Seventh Annual Easter Fest
10am-2pm Saturday March 31, 45-815 Pookela Street. Buy a $5 “Keiki fun” wristband, for children in the sixth-grade or younger, so they can participate in the egg hunt at 11am, play games, partake in crafts, and even enjoy a bouncer. The $20 “Super Fun” wristband will get you unlimited use of the rock-climbing wall, video game room, waterslide, bouncers, bungee run and more.
Waikiki Aquarium Seahunt
9am-noon Saturday March 31, at the Waikiki Aquarium, cost for non-member is $15, members $5. The SeaHunt begins at 9:15. The “Splashing Easter Celebration” is for keiki from ages 2-7 and includes pictures with the Easter bunny, crafts, and other activities. There will be a fish pond game as well (tickets are $2.00). Throughout the day will be presentations on various Hawaiian sea creatures such as Sharks, and Hawaiian Monk Seals. Advanced registration is recommended.
Spring Basket Make-and-Take Craft Sessions
11am-noon March 31 at Ben Franklin Craft stores across Oahu. There is a $2 fee, and craft lessons will revolve around Nestabilities die cuts.
Market City Shopping Center Easter Celebration
11am-2pm Saturday March 31, at Market City Shopping Center Lobby. There will be Make-and-Take Crafts, balloon animals, face painting and body art, and free photos with the Easter Bunny.
Have a Bunni-ful Day at Mililani Shopping Center
Noon-2pm Saturday March 31, at Mililani Shopping Center. There will be keiki crafts, inflatable bouncers, pony rides, and a petting zoo with bunnies and chicks. If you get a picture with the Easter Bunny you’ll receive a free treat. Bring in toiletries, baby supplies, or cleaning and laundry products to the Lokahi Giving Project for a chance to win a Wet ‘N Wild Family four-pack.
