4th of July on Oahu
Nothing says 4th of July like a firework show. And in 2011, if you are in Honolulu this 4th of July weekend, you will have plenty of opportunities to see a Hawaii firework show. The festivities kick off this Friday, July 1st at Duke Kahanamoku Beach in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Every Friday, the Hilton Hawaiian Village puts on a free firework show on Waikiki Beach. A longtime favorite for visitors to Honolulu, the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s 4th of July firework show takes it to another level. If you are on Oahu, this is one of the best things to do in Oahu. Do not miss this show! If you miss the Hilton’s show, you can always catch a firework show on Sunday July 3rd at the Aloha Tower Market Place. The party starts at 4 pm and the fireworks start at 8:45 pm. On Monday, the actual 4th of July, the Ala Moana Center is hosting a celebration on parking deck 5. Starting at noon, the festivities will keep visitors and locals entertained until the fireworks begin at 8:30. A firework show is definitely the thing to do in Oahu this weekend.
