Hawaii Five-O Begins Filming Third Season
By Stephanie Griffin-Ross | July 10, 2012
The hit CBS television show Hawaii Five-O began filming its third season yesterday. This season looks to be the best yet with new characters, deeper plots, and the closure to last season’s cliffhangers. Here’s a look at what’s in store for Hawaii’s hottest show!

Each year the stars and production crew of Hawaii Five-O begin the season of filming with a ceremonial Hawaiian blessing. Led by Kahu Blaine Kamalani Kia, cultural advisor to the show, they wanted to start the season off right and asked everyone to bring “positive energy” to this season’s filming.
Season two ended with a few cliffhangers. Danno was in a custody battle, Chin Ho Kelly had to choose between saving his wife Malia, or his cousin rookie cop Kono, who was tied up an thrown overboard.
Possibly the biggest cliffhanger from last season was the revelation of McGarrett’s mother as “Shelburne” who was thought to be dead and has some connection to the death of his father. Season three of Hawaii Five-O will pick back up right where it left off!

New characters this season include Christine Lahti playing Doris McGarrett, mother to Alex O’Loughlin’s character Steve McGarrett. His romantic interest Catherine Rollins, played by actress Michelle Borth, also returns with a larger role. Two women in McGarrett’s life? Sounds like a mixture for drama to me.
Season three of Hawaii Five-O premieres in September, and talks of a Waikiki showing of the premiere at the beach are underway. Be sure to catch all the action of Hawaii Five-O this fall on CBS.
If you’re going to be in Hawaii this summer be sure to keep you eyes peeled for some of television’s biggest stars as they shoot around the island of Oahu!

Alooooha!

Aloha, we will be coming to Hawaii late April early May 2013. Is there any chance of doing a meet & greet with the cast of Hawaii FiveO. Could you please point me in the right direction.
Mahalo
Aloha Rachel! The official telephone number for the Hawaii Five-0 production office is 808 – 587 – 4670. They might be able to tell you where they’re filming and you may be able to get on set. A good idea to inquire about would be to see how to become an extra on the show. Now that would make a GREAT vacation story! Good luck, we hope this helps, Alooooooha!
