Set sail with Body Glove cruises aboard their 55-foot trimaran to Pawai
Bay, a snorkeler's paradise. Accessible only by boat, this remote spot
offers visibility up to 100 feet and enchanting coral gardens that are
home to at least 600 species of brightly colored tropical fish. Watch
sea creatures beyond your imagination as they dart and drift around the
interesting rock and coral of this protected marine environment.
Hawaii's waters are among the richest and most beautiful in the world,
and we know just where to find the finest snorkeling and scuba diving
along the beautiful Kona Coast. See thousands of brilliantly colored
tropical fish, endangered sea turtles and wild dolphins, all set against
the gorgeous coral reef gardens at Pawai Bay, a protected marine
preserve. Upon arrival at Pawai Bay, the knowledgeable crew will provide
you with top-notch masks, fins and snorkels. Prescription masks are
available, as are personalized snorkeling instructions.
In addition to seeing the native reef dwellers such as the moorish idol,
yellow tang, parrotfish, longnose butterfly, wrasse, angelfish,
trumpetfish, moray eel and convict tang, you may also see the
fascinating and endangered green sea turtle. On-board naturalists will
be on hand to enlighten you about these creatures as well as spinner
dolphins, manta rays and many other year round residents.
