My husband and I recently went to the Big Island with Discover Hawaii Tours after hearing so much about it from my brother who did the tour a month before. Our guide Phoenix was fantastic! We really had a good time, I have been talking to all of my friends about it. We saw a lot of very cool places around Hilo that we would have otherwise probably missed. The Volcanoes National Park was one of the highlights of the tour, second of course to the lava viewing.

The tour was amazing, we had a really great day and made some friends along the way too. The only downside was that we forgot to pack a light jacket and we got rained on throughout the day, but the rain made for some amazing waterfall pics! Thanks again Phoenix!

I stayed on Maui with some friends and we knew we wanted to island hop for a day and see another Hawaiian Island. I\\’m so glad I found this company, they made all the arrangements for us. The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to drive yourself to the airport in Maui (a beautiful drive). We were greeted at the Hilo airport by Tony who took great care of us the entire day, he made sure that we felt like his \"ohana\" or \"family\" by the end of the day.

We had a great day and my friends can\\’t stop talking about it. The only thing was that I forgot to bring extra cash along, and I couldn\\’t find an ATM anywhere, so if you want to purchase any souvenirs or snacks along the way make sure you bring cash and not just cards.

Both me and my husband enjoyed the tour very much. We wouldn’t change anything.

The tour was great, it occurred at a good pace, and the driver was flexible to do additional things with us when our group finished things early.

My friends and I went on this tour from Maui to the Big Island and Discover Hawaii made the whole experience fun and easy. Our tour guide was fantastic, he showed us all these cool spots on the Big Island we never would have found.

Thanks!

It was great seeing the sites. Big Island is very pretty. I don\’t like that its called Big Island, just call it what it is, Hawaii Island. The waterfall was really flowing and I have some great photos of the pretty volcano.

Word of warning: our guide advised us not to take rocks. I took a couple for our garden. I really feel like this was a mistake. My string of bad luck seems to be continuing. Hawaii please don\’t be mad at me anymore! :)

Really enjoyed the tour on February 28. Phoenix was a storehouse of information on plants, local lore, and the volcano. It gave us another view of the Islands that we hadn’t seen. Mahalo Phoenix
